AMIN PDX - Pioneering Change
It was exciting to work with AMIN and Sasquatch to design the identity and print collateral for the their annual 2014 conference. The theme of the conference was “Pioneering Change” which highlights the history of the region, and the constantly evolving climate of design within Portland.
The design and overall aesthetic was inspired in part by photography I had shot and accumulated in the prior months. I used those images to develop the color palette and tone, and integrated them into the print collateral.
Primary logo and alternate version. I liked the feel of the vintage type, but ended up choosing the more modern direction since it felt more appropriate for the conference.
Since the conference was held in Portland, there was obviously beer.
I used my personal photography to create stylized pacific northwest landscapes. I think they are recognizable, but also new and unexpected.
Banner ads alerted people to the conference. The ads were also included in e-blasts sent to attendees.
